Top 3 NBA Betting Odds, Picks & Predictions: Friday (10/28)

After nailing all three of our plays on Wednesday and improving to 73% ATS on the season, we turn our attention to the Friday slate, which features 11 games. Here are the three I’m most dialed in on to start the weekend.

YTD Record: 8-3-1 ATS

1. Wizards -6 -110 at DK Sportsbook

With these two teams having played nine times since the start of 2021, both know each other better than most. Just last week, the Wizards started their season with a 114-107 win at Indiana, controlling the game from start to finish and covering as 2.5-point favorites.

The spread has adjusted, but I don’t think enough, as the Wizards have gone on to win two of three since, with their only loss in a closely contested game in Cleveland.

As for the Pacers, they already look like one of the worst teams in the league, coming into this one dead last in three-point percentage at 45.8% from deep, with just one win on the season. With likely no answer for the healthy one-two punch of Bradley Beal and Kristaps Porzingis, I like for the Wizards to roll at home in this one.

2. Bulls -4.5| -110 at DK Sportsbook

Losing two of their first three games and looking sluggish in both, the Bulls have bounced back this week, winning their two games since covering both by a combined 30 points. The last time we saw them on the court was vs. the Pacers, where Zach Lavine looked in mid-season form, dropping 28 points on the night.

As for the Spurs, while Coach Pop will undoubtedly get the most out of what he has this season, player talent ultimately wins in this league. That is something he just doesn’t have. This one may start slow, but I like for the Bulls to ultimately roll in this one.

3. Knicks +7 | -110 at DK Sportsbook

The No. 1 defense (Milwaukee) and No. 2 offense (Knicks) will be on display in this one, as the two are averaging 97.3 and 122.8 points, respectively. The last time we saw this Bucks team on the court was a potential Eastern Conference Finals preview, as they beat the Nets 110-99 on Wednesday night at home.

Having won their first three and covering all of them, I think Bucks backers are playing a premium here, laying seven points. After an opening night loss at Memphis, the Knicks have won three straight of their own, most recently a dogfight of a game Wednesday night in overtime vs. Charlotte.

While injuries might derail this team later in the season, as they’re not deep, I like the chemistry Jalen Brunson and Julius Randle are already developing, and I think they have enough to keep this one close.
