NBA Betting Odds, Picks & Predictions: Wednesday (2/8)
We posted the worst of the number for the Nets on Wednesday, losing by half a point to prevent us from another perfect day, ultimately finishing 2-1 ATS on the week.
Following a night in which NBA history was made as LeBron James broke the all-time scoring record, we head back to the Association for three more picks.
- YTD Record: 76-61-4 ATS

Let's take a closer look.
Hornets vs. Wizards
Two teams playing their way out of the Eastern Conference playoffs will face off tonight in our nationâs capital as the 15-40 Hornets take on the 24-29 Wizards. Both of these teams showed promise early on, but injuries to their shallow depth charts have them sinking quickly.
The Wiz are likely to get one of their scorers back, as both Kyle Kuzma and Bradley Beal missed Mondayâs game vs. the Cavs with injuries. The Hornets are also dealing with injuries to key players, as former Wizard Kelly Oubre Jr. is out with a hand injury, and the team has now lost four straight.
Look for the Wiz to get back on track in this one.
Bet: Wizards -4.5 (-110)
76ers vs. Celtics
In what could very well end up being an Eastern Conference Championship preview, the third-seeded 76ers head north to take on the first-seeded Celtics. Having put up 137 points on the Spurs Friday, the 76ersâ offense came crashing down two days later, scoring just 97 points in a 97-108 loss to the Knicks.
The Celtics have followed a similar pattern, putting up 139 in the Nets last week just two days before scoring just 94 on the Suns in a 94-106 defeat. They did get back on track Monday, beating the Pistons on the road 111-99.
The 76ers, however, have a key trend on their side. In that Celticsâ last five games on just one day of rest, they are 0-5 ATS.
Bet: 76ers +4.5 (-110)
Warriors vs. Trail Blazers
I donât think the market is adjusting to the Warriors without Steph Curry correctly, and Iâll continue to bet on them until it does.
Only a four-point favorite on Monday vs. the Thunder, the Warriors dominated from the opening tip, winning 141-114 in a game that was never close. The win was their second straight without Curry, who, while key comes to the playoffs, is surrounded with enough talent to win games in this league when he is out.
As for Portland, they come into this one having lost two straight, allowing 127 points or more in both games. Look for a similar result here.
Bet: Warriors +3 (-110)
