Top 3 NBA Betting Odds, Picks & Predictions: Wednesday (1/25)

We had a winning Monday in the Association, going 2-1 ATS on the night, only failing to get there with the sinking Spurs. After a quiet Tuesday, we head back to the hardwood tonight for a full slate of action.

Let’s take a closer look at where things are shaking out.

Here are our other top picks for Wednesday:

Let's take a closer look.

Wizards (-3) vs. Rockets

With Bradley Beal now back in the lineup for the Wiz, Washington is getting a glimpse of just how good life can be with a healthy roster. Winners of three straight, the Wizards knocked off Dallas on the road last night as 7-point underdogs, controlling the game from the tip, even without their big man Kristaps Porzingis.

While they won’t have Porzingis back until early February, Houston should be a team they handle, even on the short rest. The Rockets coming into this one following their first win since the year started, beating Minnesota at home 119-114 earlier in the week. They come back to earth here as Beal carries his team.
Bet: Wizards -3 (-110)

76ers (-5.5) vs. Nets

It’s been a mixed bag of results during life without KD for the Nets, winning two of their past six games as they look to close out a five-game road trip tonight in Philly. Their last two wins, however, were amongst their most impressive of the year, knocking off Utah and Golden State on the road and short-handed.

The challenge will be even bigger tonight, as they now take on a 76ers team they could very well see deep in the Eastern playoffs. Despite dealing with an injury to a star of their own in Joel Embiid, the 76ers have rattled off five straight wins, covering their past three straight. In their first game back from a five-game road trip of their own, Philly handles their business.

Bet: 76ers -5.5 (-110)

Kings (-3.5) vs. Raptors

Albeit still quietly, seemingly, the Kings are slowly becoming the NBA’s problem child when it comes to gritty opponents. Coming into tonight, the Kings have now won seven of their past eight, covering all but one. Monday might have been their most impressive win to date, knocking off the equally hot Grizzlies 133-100 in a game that was never close.

As for the Raptors, while they’re always a tough out at home, things on the road have been more difficult. Coming into Sac-Town tonight, they are just 9-12 ATS away from Canada, and I think they fall on a similar sword tonight. The Kings keep the good times rolling in this one.

Bet: Kings -3.5 (-110)
