Top NBA First Basket Betting Odds, Picks & Predictions: Wednesday (11/2)

We’ve got an excellent slate in the NBA tonight.

But if you don’t have the patience to watch a complete game, I’ve got the bets for you. I’m looking at three players to score the first basket in their respective games.

Here are three potential options for tonight’s NBA First Basket market.

Top NBA First Basket Odds, Picks & Predictions

Jrue Holiday

The Bucks aren’t the most efficient offense to start games. They’ve needed 2.7 shots to score their first field goal per game.

However, the Bucks have won the tip 83.3% of the time and have scored the first field goal in 66.7% of games to begin the year. Jrue Holiday has three first field goals for the Bucks through six games. He’s also scored Milwaukee’s first field goal in four of six games.

The Bucks are going up against the Detroit Pistons, who have only scored first in 12.5% of their games. Therefore, while the odds aren’t incredible, I still like Holiday to score first in tonight’s game. He’s at least got better odds than Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Bet: Jrue Holiday (+350

Pascal Siakam

The Toronto Raptors will take on the San Antonio Spurs on the road tonight. The Raptors have won 57.1% of tips and have scored the first field goal 57.1% of the time.

It’s only taken Toronto 2.3 shots to score the first basket. Meanwhile, the Spurs have only won the tip 42.9% of the time this year. San Antonio has also only scored 28.6% of the first field goal.

Pascal Siakam has already hit three first field goals this season. He’s also scored four of the team’s first field goals. He’s already scored four first field goals for his team in just seven games. He’s also taking 1.29 of the first three shots that the Raptors take to begin the game.

Back Siakam to score one first.

Bet: Pascal Siakam (+390)

Shaedon Sharpe

I’ve got to give at least one long shot. The Portland Trail Blazers have won the tip 66.7% of the time this year. Meanwhile, the Grizzlies have won the tip just 28.6% of the time. Damian Lillard is already out with a calf injury. Meanwhile, Josh Hart has a concussion and could miss time.

Shaedon Sharpe already has a first basket made this season and should have a real opportunity to be the first scorer again. Lilliard and Hart have combined for five of the team’s first baskets, while Sharpe has the other. Why can’t Sharpe be that scorer again if those two are out?

Bet: Shaedon Sharpe (+1400)
