The Celtics just took their first loss at home this season and now hit the road. They start against the Rockets, who they destroyed in Boston 145-113. Houston has been going through a rough patch and is just 5-9 in their 14. The Celtics have the second-best first-basket rate, while the Rockets are the ninth-worst. The Rockets have been vulnerable to the forward position getting the first points, and Jayson Tatum is second on the team with eight first baskets.

Pick: Jayson Tatum (+410)

Denver Nuggets at Washington Wizards

The Nuggets were able to get the upset and end the Celtics' 20-game home winning streak. In that game, Jokic was just one assist shy of a triple-double and had 34 points and 12 rebounds. He should have another great game against the Wizards, who have the worst Adjusted Defensive Ranking. Joker is the guy that Denver depends on to get the first points, as his 13 first baskets are the second-most, and Washington allows 30% of the first baskets against centers.

The Heat and Magic have played some close and defensive battles this season, and this game should be no different. Bam Adebayo has won the opening tip-off in both games, so don't expect anything different. Despite Adebayo not getting the first points in either game, he does lead the team with 40% of the first field goal attempts and also leads the team in first baskets.
