When picking a first-basket prop involving the Memphis Grizzles, you have to account for the talent of Steve Adams.
The Grizzlies have been one of the best first-basket makers in the league at 75% this season.
Ja Morant has been the guy to get it started with three first baskets this season and is leading the team with 1.14 of the team’s first three shots per game.

The Raptors and Bulls look like it will be a defensive showdown as this game pins two of the top ten scoring defenses in the league.
This will be a battle right from the start, as these teams are close in tip-off win percentage.
The Raptors will likely be without their leading scorer Pascal Siakam (groin), who’s also leading the team with three first baskets.
I’m going to lean toward Chicago getting the first points of the game and trying to establish a presence on the board with Nikola Vucevic, who does have a first-game basket and two first-team baskets this year.
Anthony Davis (+550)
The Lakers have been struggling this year and now getting one of the top teams in the east will be a challenge.
They have been successful though at hitting the first basket at 57.1 of games in just 1.6 shots.
Anthony Davis has been the guy Los Angeles looks to get their offense rolling and leads the team with first two baskets and three first team baskets.
