Philadelphia 76ers vs. Chicago Bulls

There are two pieces to first-basket betting. The first piece is picking the team that will win the tipoff. Winning the tipoff will allow that team the chance to shoot the ball first. The Philadelphia 76ers have won the tipoff in both games these teams have played. That gives them the advantage tonight. 

Tyrese Maxey has gotten the ball first in both of those games. That will most likely continue tonight. Maxey is the second-best scorer on the 76ers, and the +700 betting value is too good to ignore. Maxey is the best play tonight in this matchup.

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Boston Celtics

These teams have not played during the regular season. That makes it more difficult to select who will win the tipoff. Kristapas Porzingas has the size and athletic ability to come away with the tipoff tonight. That gives the Celtics a better chance of winning the tipoff against the Thunder. 

Jayson Tatum is in Boston to shoot the ball. He is their No. 1 option, and the Celtics will get him the ball early and often. That means he is a great option to score first tonight and has plenty of betting value. Tatum is a player that bettors can get value out of every week.

Memphis Grizzlies vs. San Antonio Spurs

The last time these teams played, Jaren Jackson Jr. won the tipoff for the Grizzlies. This game is one of the few times the Spurs will win the tipoff. Victor Wembanyama is too tall for other teams to win the tipoff against him. That makes this a risker bet. That means lower the number of units that you bet. 

The Grizzlies lack the size to deal with Wembanyama. That gives Wembanyama opportunities to score the ball early on. The Spurs can feed the ball inside, and Wembanyama can get an easy bucket. Bettors can use that size to their advantage tonight.
