That is the reason I like Davis to score the first basket tonight. He is one of the toughest players to defend, and the Lakers like to get him involved early and often on offense. Davis is starting to heat up. Bettors will want to keep an eye on him this season.

Chicago Bulls vs. Denver Nuggets

The game is one of the rare games in which the Bulls will win the tipoff, but the tough Denver defense will look to stop the Bulls and give the Nuggets the first chance at making a basket. The Nuggets are strong on the defensive side.

The biggest reason for the Nuggets tough defense is Nikola Jokic. He does it all. That includes scoring the ball. Chicago lacks the defenders to stop Jokic. His size and ability to score points give him the best chance at scoring first tonight.
