Today’s Best NBA First Basket Scorer Player Prop Bets

Here is our top NBA first basket scorer player prop bet picks for Wednesday.

Atlanta Hawks vs. Dallas Mavericks

When Luka Doncic takes on Trae Young, it’s always an exciting battle.

The Hawks are much better at earning first baskets this season. The Mavericks have scored the first basket in just 38% of games this year, while the Hawks have added a first basket in 55% of games this year.

Trae Young has seven of Atlanta’s first baskets and is second on the first-basket list, behind Doncic, who has only earned three first baskets throughout the season.

I like the Hawks to score the first basket and believe we’ll get Trae Young scoring first. He leads the Hawks in first baskets, and whenever he’s taking on Dallas, it’s always a “prove it” game.

Bet: Trae Young (+500)

Los Angeles Clippers vs. Utah Jazz

The Clippers and Jazz will play against one another for the fourth time this season. In each game, it’s been a different player scoring the first basket.

Utah won the tip twice and scored the first basket. Meanwhile, the Clippers won the tip once and then scored the first basket. The team that wins the tip will likely end up scoring first.

Los Angeles has won the tip 43% of games this season. The Jazz has only won the tip 36% of the time. It’s also unlikely that Paul George will suit up. Therefore, Marcus Morris Sr. has a ton of value.

Morris has scored seven first baskets on nine first shots. Sitting at +950, it’s worth taking a gamble here.

Bet: Marcus Morris Sr. ( +950)

Sacramento Kings vs. Los Angeles Lakers

The Lakers and Kings will play for the fourth time this season. In all three games, the Lakers won the tip and scored first.

As of now, LeBron James is questionable for tonight’s game. It will change a lot if he doesn’t end up playing.

Either way, the Lakers have won 64% of the tip, while the Kings have earned just 33% of the tip. Los Angeles has also taken the first shot 59% of the time, while the Kings have attempted the first in just 17 of 42 games.

Patrick Beverley has six first shots and five first baskets this season. If there’s no LeBron, Beverley is a sneaky play at +1100.

Bet: Patrick Beverley (+1100)
