Nikola Vucevic (+500)

This game has some meaning in the Eastern Conference playoffs race.

The Wizards had an easy stretch to their schedule and took advantage by going 10-5 in their last 15. This has helped them climb into the final playoff spot in the conference.

One of the teams they climbed over was the Bulls. Chicago comes into today losing six of their last seven, and while the defense keeps them in games, their lack of scoring options can’t help them finish.

Washington holds a distinct advantage grabbing 61% of their game’s first basketballs to Chicago’s 48%. This is largely due to Kristaps Porzingis taking the tipoff. No Porzingis means No tip-off advantage. This is great news for Nikola Vucevic, who should play well tonight and leads the Bulls in first baskets.

Jerami Grant (+650)

The Trail Blazers have been a streaky team all season, and it’s a significant factor in why they’re around .500. Still, they have a chance to play in the postseason and are sitting just one game out of the final spot.

It’s another season where the Rockets will finish near the bottom of the league. This team has been in that rebuilding stage for a while as they try to acquire as many top prospects as possible.

These two teams are almost even in tip wins and first baskets. The current advantage goes to Portland, and Jerami Grant has their best player at grabbing the first point recently and has the best first-basket percentage in the league.

Domantas Sabonis (+420)

How can the Kings top their last game? That had a great offensive showing against the Clippers, staged a comeback, and won 176-175 in the second-highest-scoring game in the history of the NBA.

The Thunder were not expected to be a factor in the playoffs, but this young roster is playing better than expected, and they’re sitting just outside of a spot in the play-in tournament

The Kings’ offense has been great in general, but also at getting the game going with six first baskets in their last ten. Domantas Sabonis has been a force in the post and has four first-team baskets in his previous five games.
