NBA Odds, Picks & Predictions: Saturday (11/9)
The National Basketball Association has four games on tap Saturday. The slate kicks off at 5 p.m. ET, as the Utah Jazz and San Antonio Spurs kick off a tripleheader on NBA TV.
The Chicago Bulls and Atlanta Hawks meet at State Farm Arena at 7:30 p.m. ET, and the Brooklyn Nets and Cleveland Cavaliers also square off at the same time in the middle of the NBA TV tripleheader.
In the late window, the Toronto Raptors and L.A. Clippers meet at 10:30 p.m. ET.

Chicago Bulls (+128) at Atlanta Hawks (-152) | O/U 238.5 (-108/-112)
The Bulls (3-6) and Hawks (4-6) square off at State Farm Arena at 7:30 p.m. ET. Atlanta has a quick turnaround, as it was on the short end of a 122-121 loss in Detroit on Friday night, although it managed to cover as a 2.5-point underdog as the over (227.5) cashed.
Atlanta has alternated losses and wins in the past five games, but it is 3-1 against the spread (ATS) in the past four games. More importantly, however, the Hawks have cashed the over in nine out of 10 games on the season. Keep riding that wave until the books either adjust, or the Hawks slow down on offense and/or they learn how to play defense.
The Hawks are playing their third back-to-back of the season. In the previous two games, Atlanta lost both outright, while failing to cover either of those games. And while the over cashed in the first such situation, the under hit against the Boston Celtics in the most recent game of a back-to-back, scoring a season-low 93 points in a 30-point loss. But, that’s also Boston, the defending champs.
The Bulls are on a four-game losing streak and non-cover skid. Chicago is just 3-6 straight up (SU)/ATS in nine games so far this season. On the road, the Bulls are 2-3 SU/ATS in five games, while the over is 4-1 in that span.
We’re super high on the over, even though the number is a big one. Could the books finally have adjusted too high? The trends say bet high.
We’ll also side with the Hawks laying the little bit of the points, even with Atlanta’s struggles on no rest. Chicago just can’t be trusted, going 0-4 SU/ATS in the past four outings.
Picks: Atlanta Hawks -2.5 (-110) & Over 238.5 Points (-108)
Toronto Raptors (+240) at L.A. Clippers (-295) | O/U 226.5 (-110/-110)
The Raptors (2-7) make the third stop in a five-game journey against the Clippers (5-4). Toronto has dropped the first two games on the trip, averaging 113.0 points per game (PPG), while allowing 121.5 PPG.
Like Atlanta above, the Raptors have been an over machine, too. The under cashed in a 122-107 loss in Sacramento on Wednesday, but the total has ended up going high in five of the past six games while going 7-2 in nine games on the season.
For the Clippers, they topped the aforementioned Kings 107-98 on Friday night in California’s capital city, winning outright as a 6.5-point underdog as the under (224.5) connected. Los Angeles has won and covered three straight games, averaging 110.0 PPG, while allowing just 100.0 PPG in the span.
The Clippers swept this series last season, averaging 126.5 PPG, while allowing 113.5 PPG. The Clippers have won four in a row and eight of the past 10 meetings, while going 3-1 ATS in the four-game span. The under is 4-1 in the past five meetings in Los Angeles, too.
This number is a little high based on the series trends and the under has cashed in three of the past four for the Clippers while going 6-2 in their past eight games. We’ll lean low on the total. Backing the Clippers laying the points is a sound investment.
