Top NBA Odds, Picks & Predictions: Thursday (12/22)
San Antonio Spurs @ New Orleans Pelicans (-7.5 | O/U: 226)
The Pelicans will be without many of their best players tonight (Zion Williamson, Brandon Ingram, Larry Nance Jr.), though I trust their depth to cover this number at home. The Spurs are perhaps the worst team in the NBA, and shouldn’t be trusted on the road. Also, San Antonio is not exactly at their best health either and may be absent key contributors such as Keldon Johnson and Jakob Poeltl.
It is difficult to endorse either side fully given the uncertainty, but the Pelicans are the more reliable side to back tonight.

Washington Wizards @ Utah Jazz (-6.5 | 229)
Similarly, the current injury report makes this a challenging game to decipher, though these two teams incline us to lean Over in this spot.
In the month of December, the Wizards rate 29th in Defensive Efficiency to the Jazz’ 21st. Washington’s offense hasn’t been particularly stout, but the team has seen an uptick in efficiency with Bradley Beal back on the court. Furthermore, the Jazz should be able to remedy their own offensive issues of late (4th rated Offense this season, 17th rated these past five games) against such a porous defense.
