NBA Parlay for Wednesday, March 9th, 2022
The busiest night in recent memory for the NBA is on deck for tonight as 24 teams will be in action across the league. In the early National TV (ESPN) slot, the West and Eastâs top seeds will square off as the Suns head to Miami to take on the Heat.
With the late ESPN game between the Trail Blazers and Jazz, letâs take a look at a few other matchups I have my eye on.

Leg #1. Bulls ML | -220 at DK Sportsbook
Monday marked the 5th straight loss for a Bulls team reeling for the first time this season, desperate to get back in the win column. Points have been less of an issue than stopping them, as theyâve allowed 119.4 per game over their recent side. Now, they head to Detroit to take on a Piston team that has won three straight and covered their past eight.
Still, the Pistons are averaging 103.5 points per game, second-worst in the league, while shooting just 42.4% from the field. While the Bulls remained banged up, the Pistons have been a covering machine. I like Chicago to get the outright win here and begin the quest to get back on track.
Leg #2. Pelicans -9 | -110 at DK Sportsbook
Coming into tonight on the second of a back-to-back, the Magic fell at home last night to the Suns 99-102 in yet another poor offensive performance. To date, the Pelicans trail just the Thunder and Pistons in points per game (103.8), FG % (43.3%), and 3PT % (32.7%), having now lost three of four by an average margin of 13 points.
For the Pelicans, 32 points from Ja Morant was too much to compete with last night as they fell 111-132 at home to the Grizzlies. In what should be a bounce-back spot for a team that has won four of their past six, I like for the Pelicans to pull away from this one late in what will be the first of a much-needed homestand.
Leg #3. Wizards ML | -110 at DK Sportsbook
Sitting 1.5 games back from the final seed in the Eastern Conference play-in tournament, every game is critical from here on out for the Wizards. With the newly acquired Kristaps Porzingis on the court for the first time on Sunday, the Wiz put up one of their best offensive performances of the season, scoring 133 in a 133-123 win over the Pacers.
A mini four-game win streak for the Clippers has been followed up by consecutive losses scoring just 97 points or less in both. I like the rejuvenated Wizards to find success again tonight, for what is the first of a critical four-game West Coast swing for Washington.
