Tuesday’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets

Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook | This Season: 26-40 (-14.16 units)

Dejounte Murray Over 2.5 made three-pointers (+105)

Murray is averaging just 2.4 three-pointers made per game, and he was just 1 of 6 from deep against the Washington Wizards on Saturday. It was a disappointing performance against a defense that ranks 22nd in allowed three-point field goal percentage.

But Murray gets another great matchup tonight, as he takes on the San Antonio Spurs and their fifth-worst three-point shooting defense. Though Murray struggled Saturday, he was 8 of 13 in his previous two games. He’s shooting 39.1% from deep this season, and he’s averaging 6.1 attempts per game. The Spurs allow 42.5 points per game from deep, which is the fourth-most in the league. Murray will keep shooting tonight as he quickly forgets about Saturday’s game.

Klay Thompson Over 3.5 rebounds (-115)

Klay Thompson and Steph Curry both have the same rebound total listed for tonight’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies. However, the prices for their overs are very different. Sportsbooks are asking -195 for Curry’s over, while they’re asking just -115 for Thompson’s.

Though Thompson hasn’t been a great rebounder this season, he’s averaging 3.6 per game despite only going over three rebounds in just one of his last four games. The Grizzlies allow the fourth-most rebounds to opponents this season, and they just allowed 62 their last time out. As the worst three-point shooting team in the league, the Grizzlies are going to miss a lot of deep shots, leading to long rebounds for smaller players like Thompson.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Over 1.5 made three-pointers (+124)

The Los Angeles Lakers don’t allow their opponents to make too high of a percentage of their three-pointers, yet they still allow the most points per game from beyond the arc. They’re allowing 42.7 per contest and will face the team with the 12th-most points from three-pointers this season.

SGA isn’t a three-point shooter. He’s averaging just 1.2 makes per game this season. In his last two games, he’s just 1 of 7 from beyond the arc, which is the reason this price is so good. Before his current two-game stretch, Gilgeous-Alexander had made at least two three-pointers in seven of eight games. This month, he’s averaging 4.0 attempts per game, up from 3.2 in December. With a great matchup, expect a few extra deep shots as he takes advantage of the Lakers’ three-point defense.
