Monday’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets

Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook | This Season: 23-37 (-14.76 units)

Tyrese Haliburton Over 12.5 Assists (+135)

Tyrese Haliburton recorded just seven assists against the Boston Celtics on Saturday. The performance broke a streak of 11 consecutive games with at least 10 assists. However, there isn’t much reason to be concerned. Earlier this season, Haliburton recorded 13 assists against the Celtics in a 122-112 win.

Though Saturday’s game only featured 219 points, oddsmakers still have the total for the Indiana Pacers’ rematch with the Celtics set at 243.5. If the Pacers are going to do their part, Haliburton will need to dish out slightly more than his season average of 12.7 assists per game.

Jalen Williams Over 17.5 Points (-110)

The Oklahoma City Thunder haven’t had the privilege of playing against the Washington Wizards’ defense this season. The Wizards rank last in points allowed per game, and their average points against should only get worse tonight against the fourth-best scoring offense in the NBA.

However, which player has the best chance to hit their points over? While Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is the team’s leading scorer, his line is set at 33.5, and the over is expensive. Meanwhile, Jalen Williams’ total is set below his season average. He’s scored at least 20 points in back-to-back games, and while he’s struggled to hit 18 at times this season, he’s never faced a defense this bad. If you can get anyone’s total below their season average against the Wizards, you have to play it.

Lauri Markkanen 4+ Made Three-Pointers (+165)

Lauri Markkanen has made at least four three-pointers in three of his last four games. He’s averaging 3.2 made shots from beyond the arc per game this season. The price is simply too steep for him to make at least three three-pointers, but him making at least four is a very valuable bet.

Markkanen averages 8.4 three-point attempts per game, and he should go over that number in a high-scoring game his team will likely be losing. If he attempts at least 10, as he has done eight times this season, the 38.5% three-point shooter will hit this over. He may even do it with fewer attempts.
