This Season: 3-0 (+4.25 units) | Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook
Kyle Lowry Over 8.5 Assists + Rebounds (-110)
Kyle Lowry is off to a rough start scoring. He has just 16 points through three games, and 13 came in one game. Therefore, we will stay away from anything involving him needing points.
However, he has been very good at helping his teammates score. He has 14 assists this season, including 12 in his last two contests. He's also pulled down 14 rebounds.
In his last two games, Lowry has gone for 11 and 12 rebounds plus assists. Tonight against the Bucks, the rebounds may drop, but the assists are still going to be there. With how he's playing right now, this number should probably be at 9.5 or 10.5.
Derrick White Over 16.5 Points + Rebounds (-115)
As Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown see their prop lines skyrocket, Derrick White's remain reasonable. He has combined for at least 18 points plus rebounds in each of his first two games. Tonight, he faces the second-worst scoring defense in basketball.
Dating back to last year, White has consistently put up at least six shots per game. He finished last year shooting 46.2%. So, while his current 61.9% field goal percentage is sure to drop throughout the season, the matchup tonight is too good to expect that.
The Washington Wizards are allowing 56.5 rebounds per game. White has six rebounds in each of his first two contests. Again, his average in 2022-23 was much lower than his current pace - he averaged just 3.6 rebounds per game - but this is a really good matchup.
Zion Williamson Under 25.5 Points (-110)
Zion Williamson has averaged 30 minutes over the first two games. He's scored 23 and 24 points in those two matchups. Tonight, he'll go against the Golden State Warriors.
There is a belief that the Warriors have a weak defense because of how they have played in past seasons. However, through three games, they are allowing the ninth-fewest points in the league. It's a small sample size, but it's worth noting since it shows how much slower the Warriors are playing to start this season. They're averaging 104 possessions per game, which is 15th in the league.
Williamson is always a threat to explode, but early in the season, many NBA players are fighting to get into game shape. With his second game in three days against a defense that is better than many give them credit, we Williamson Zion to score 25 or fewer.
