Monday’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets

Odds courtesy of FanDuel SportsbookThis Season: 15-21 (-5.71 units)

Caleb Martin Under 25.5 Points + Assists + Rebounds (-115)

After averaging just 21.9 minutes per game in November, Martin has averaged 33.7 minutes per contest in December. Yet, even with improved minutes, Martin’s production has been inconsistent. Two games ago, he scored 24 points and pulled down 12 rebounds against the Toronto Raptors. It was just his second 20-point game of the season.

Despite pulling down 18 rebounds over his last two games, Martin only averages 4.1 boards per contest. Considering that and the 2.0 assists he’s averaging per game, he’ll likely need to score 20 in this game to hit the over. Though he has a season-high fresh in bettor’s minds, scoring 20 just twice up to this point makes it hard to trust him to do it again tonight.

Kyle Kuzma Over 27.5 Points + Assists (-120)

On Wednesday, Kuzma scored just 16 points in the Wizards’ 131-126 loss to the 76ers. The game was the first of back-to-back sub-20 point performances from the Wizards’ leading scorer.

Though he’s struggled in his last two games, Kuzma is still averaging 22.9 points per game, and he scored 28 against the 76ers earlier this season. His point total is set at 21.5, but the over is -140 or worse at every major sportsbook. Therefore, we recommend playing this combo prop. Kuzma is averaging 4.6 assists per game this season, and he’s dished out at least four in eight of his last 10 games.

Aaron Gordon Over 12.5 Points (-135)

Gordon is averaging 7.5 points per game over his last four. His last time out, he scored just three points against the Houston Rockets, marking his second consecutive game with fewer than 10 points. Yet, this is a good matchup for Gordon.

The Hawks are the fourth-worst scoring defense in the league, allowing 122.5 points per game. Four of Gordon’s last five games have been against teams ranked in the top six in the league in scoring defense. The only game that wasn’t against a good defensive team was when Gordon played the Sacramento Kings. Gordon scored 17 in that game.
