Monday’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets

Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook | This Season: 32-50 (-18.86 units)

Onyeka Okongwu Under 22.5 Points + Rebounds (-115)

With Clint Capela out, Okongwu has become a much more prominent player for the Atlanta Hawks. In his last game, he scored 22 points and pulled down 16 rebounds. Both marks were season highs.

While Okongwu will certainly be a bigger part of the Hawk's game tonight, these numbers are simply too high. The Clippers have the eighth-best defense in the league. Plus, Okongwu is averaging just 9.6 points and 6.8 rebounds per contest this season. This is not a good matchup for him to exceed his season averages.

Spencer Dinwiddie Over 17.5 Points + Assists (-105)

Saturday's performance against the Philadelphia 76ers was not good for Dinwiddie. In 26 minutes, he scored just three points and recorded six assists. This was a far cry from his 16-point, five-assist performance against the Phoenix Suns last Wednesday.

But we like Dinwiddie to rebound tonight against a Golden State Warriors team that doesn't play much defense. They're allowing 118.8 points per game, and teams are shooting 47.4% from the field against them. That bodes well for Dinwiddie and his teammates. He should exceed this number that’s set lower than need be.

Evan Mobley Over 12.5 Points (-105)

Mobley has been out for a lot of this season. Because of that, people aren't discussing what he was doing back in November. During that month, he averaged 16.7 points per game, scoring more than 12 points in all but one contest. However, he's only played five games since then, and his performances have been up and down.

On Saturday, Mobley showed what he's still capable of, scoring 28 points in just 24 minutes against the San Antonio Spurs. As his minutes increase, so should his point totals. But for now, oddsmakers seem reluctant to move this number up when Mobley may not play 25 minutes. Despite him having a tougher matchup against the Sacramento Kings tonight, we like Mobley to continue his improvement against a team that is average at defending.
