Tuesday’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets

Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook | This Season: 37-60 (-25.81 units)

Luguentz Dort 3+ three-pointers made (+155)

The Oklahoma City Thunder shoot the highest percentage of any team in the NBA from three-point range. However, they’re just 16th in three-point attempts per game, meaning they’re very selective with the shots they take.

Dort is averaging nearly five attempts per game this season, which makes his over a great play against the Lakers and their struggling three-point defense. However, the price for him to make more than one three-pointer is -175. Therefore, we recommend taking him to make at least three three-pointers. He’d have to go over his season average by one full make, but that’s something he’s done in four of his last six games.

Deandre Ayton Under 28.5 points + assists + rebounds (-110)

There are a few reasons we like this play. First, Ayton is a game-time decision for tonight’s matchup against the Timberwolves, so if he does play, he may see limited action. The last time he played was February 27th, and he managed only 19 minutes. Second, the Timberwolves allow the second-fewest points in the paint per game this season.

Ayton does all of his work from inside the paint, but he will struggle to make anything happen offensively in this one. He averages 10.6 rebounds per game, and there’s always the chance he explodes for 17+ rebounds. However, the Timberwolves rank fourth in the league in rebounds allowed per game. Nothing looks positive for Ayton heading into tonight.

Paul George Over 19.5 points (-125)

George is averaging 22.0 points per game this season, but he’s struggled lately. In February, he averaged just 17.9 points per contest, and he only topped 20 points twice in nine games. On Friday, he went for 22 points, but then he scored only 15 in the Los Angeles Clippers’ low-scoring win last night over the Timberwolves.

The Bucks give up a lot of points, which bodes well for everyone on the Clippers’ offense. Can George get back to being the clear number two option for this offense? Tonight, in the second game of a back-to-back, George will need to top his season average in a fast-paced game. This will happen despite him facing a defense that ranks in the top 12 in both shooting percentage and three-point shooting percentage allowed this season.
