Today’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets

This Season: 0-0

Stephen Curry Under 4.5 Three-Pointers (-115)

It's opening night, which means bettors are going to be very interested in wagering on the two games being played. Oddsmakers know how big of a name Curry is, and they also know his reputation as a three-point shooter. To offer his over on three-pointers at -110 or better is a definite trap.

Curry averaged 4.9 made three-pointers per game last season. But in his first game of the season last year, Curry was just 4-13 from deep.

Devin Booker 8+ Assists (+225)

We're taking a chance with this one, but the price is hard to pass up. Last season, Booker averaged 5.5 assists per game. He also played that entire season with Chris Paul who averaged 8.9 assists per game.

This season, the point guard in Phoenix is Bradley Beal. He averaged just 5.4 assists per game last season, and for his career, he's averaging just 4.3 per game. Without Paul, Booker is going to have more assist opportunities. Right now, his prop is set at 5.5 and the price for the over is -155. The over is certainly not worth playing there, but it shows the confidence that oddsmakers have in him to record at least six assists. For better than 2-to-1 odds, bank on him getting two more than what the oddsmakers clearly expect.

Anthony Davis Under 12.5 Rebounds (-135)

This is an expensive play, but it's well worth it. Last season, Davis averaged 12.5 rebounds per game. Because of that +105 for his over might seem like a good deal. However, the Nuggets allowed the least amount of rebounds to opponents last season.

In last season's Western Conference Finals, Davis did pull down at least 14 rebounds in three of the four games played. But he also played 40 or more minutes in each of those games. In the regular season, he averaged 33.7 minutes per game, and with Christian Wood backing him up, it's hard to imagine him playing more than 35 or 36 minutes tonight.
