Tuesday’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets

Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook | This Season: 33-55 (-23.31 units)

Wendell Carter Jr. Over 19.5 Points + Assists + Rebounds (-125)

The price for this prop is less than ideal, but it just emphasizes that we should be expecting Carter Jr. to clear this number. He's averaging 11.1 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game. When you add all of that up, he falls just short of the line currently set for him.

However, Carter Jr. is coming off two performances that saw him go under his season average in all categories. The Thunder are solid defensively, but Carter Jr. has been better in games the Orlando Magic lose. He's combined for at least 19 points + assists + rebounds in the team’s last seven losses.

The Magic could win tonight, but no matter what happens, the game will be close, and that is when Carter Jr. thrives. Take his points + assists + rebounds since that total is only one higher than his points + rebounds, and he's had at least one assist in all but two games this season.

Domantas Sabonis Under 8.5 Assists (+110)

Sabonis has at least 10 assists in four of his last five games. Additionally, he's recorded at least seven assists in his last seven games. Still, he’s averaging just 8.3 assists per game this season, and he's been up and down against the Phoenix Suns this year.

Though he has recorded 23 assists in his last two games against the Suns, he did record just five against them earlier this season. With how well he's been playing and his success against the Suns this year, this number seems really low. Perhaps the over seems too obvious to some, but after playing over 40 minutes in two of his last three games, we expect him to see fewer minutes tonight, leading to him going under this assist total.

Karl-Anthony Towns Under 2.5 3-Pointers Made (-110)

Towns burned us yesterday after amassing just seven rebounds + assists against the Los Angeles Clippers. On the second game of a back-to-back tonight, we're going to take him to go under a prop that he's surprisingly hit quite a bit this season.

Towns is averaging 2.3 made 3-pointers per game. He hit seven shots from deep in a recent outing, but the Portland Trail Blazers are the second-best team in the league when it comes to opponent 3-point percentage. Towns averages 5.2 3-point attempts per game, but he'll likely need to take seven or eight to hit three tonight. Since the Trail Blazers average just 33.3 allowed 3-point attempts per game, we don't see Towns going over either season average.
