Tuesday's Best NBA Player Prop Bets

Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook | This Season: 35-58 (-24.66 units)

Stephen Curry 6+ three-pointers made (+135)

When the Warriors faced the Wizards earlier this season, Curry knocked down eight three-pointers. Though Curry has come out of the All-Star break cold, making just 4-of-21 attempts in his last two games, the Wizards are allowing the most points per game in the league.

Though the Wizards rank among the top 10 in the league in points allowed per game off of three-pointers, the amount of possessions the Warriors are going to get in this game will be enough to put Curry over the top. The value for his line of 4.5 isn't very good. Therefore, we recommend this alt-line as he breaks out of his shooting slump.

Donovan Mitchell Over 35.5 points + assists + rebounds (-120)

After talking about how bad the Wizards are defensively, it may alarm some that Mitchell scored just 16 in 36 minutes against them on Sunday. However, Mitchell only attempted 11 shots in that game – his lowest mark of the season. It was just his second game with fewer than 15 field-goal attempts.

While the Mavericks aren't a bad defensive team, they're not great either. Therefore, it's surprising to see this number lower than Mitchell's season average by nearly five. This is the type of game where Mitchell and Luka Doncic could go back and forth late, with each player making big shots. If that's the case, then Mitchell may combine for 40 in this category.

Tyrese Maxey Under 26.5 points (-115)

Maxey has faced the Celtics twice this season, failing to top 25 points in either game. However, Joel Embiid played in both of those contests. The question becomes, do you think that Maxey will perform better without Embiid, or will the stingy Celtics' defense focus all their attention on him?

We're going to go with the latter option. Maxey has scored 83 points in three games since the All-Star break, but he hasn't scored more than 24 in either of his last two games. The Celtics are one of the best defensive teams in basketball. They're going to force the Philadelphia 76ers to beat them with someone other than Maxey tonight. Even if Maxey has a solid night, he won’t top his season average.
