Tyrese Maxey Over 2.5 Three-Pointers Made (-120)

Maxey was just 1-of-5 from deep in Sunday’s win over the Dallas Mavericks. It was the first time he’s made fewer than two three-pointers since Feb. 5. That game also happened to be against the Mavericks.

Tonight, Maxey faces the Nets, and his woes from Sunday will be immediately forgotten. Maxey has made a combined nine three-pointers in two games against the Nets this season. The Nets don’t give up many points from deep, but they rank 25th in the league in three-point percentage allowed per game. Maxey averages 8.1 attempts per contest, so for him to go over 2.5 made tonight isn’t asking much.

Victor Wembanyama Under 11.5 Rebounds (-115)

Wembanyama has faced the Rockets twice this season, and he’s amassed 30 rebounds against them so far. Yet, even with Wembanyama pulling down at least 12 rebounds in three consecutive games, we like him to go under tonight.

Wembanyama is averaging 10.2 rebounds per game for the season, so this would require him to clear his season average by nearly two. The Rockets are one of the worst rebounding teams in the NBA, but they will have a bit of an advantage tonight, as Wembanyama may see his minutes reduced due to shoulder soreness. Yet, even if he plays a full game, expect him to revert to his average, unable to clear an unfriendly number.

Jarrett Allen Under 17.5 Points (-120)

This is a very confusing line. Allen is averaging 15.8 points per game this season, and in two games against the Celtics, he’s yet to hit that average. He’s scored 11 or fewer points in two of his last three. Though he scored 18 against the New York Knicks on Sunday, that performance was not impressive enough to trust him to go over against the Celtics tonight.

The Celtics rank ninth in points allowed from the paint per game. Allen does all of his work inside and will struggle against a solid interior defense all night. This line is so strange that you may be tempted to take the over, but don’t overthink it.
