Fridayâs Best NBA Player Prop Bets
Last Time: 2-1 | Season: 127-97
Tyler Herro Under 37.5 Pts + Ast + Reb (-120 on Caesers)
With Jimmy Butler out and the Heat under a media storm, it's a pretty easy eye-for-an-eye equation with the Heat lacking their star forward and everyone else getting a bump. Everyone except Tyler Herro. After the last outing, I can't imagine the Heat guard will be taking as many shots and be as involved across the board. The Bulls and the Heat are both slow teams and the Bulls have been one of the better rebounding teams in the league over their last 15 games. Their defense isn't great but Miami's offense is going to experience a big drop in this game. There's a reason the total is only around 205. If you're looking to find overs in this one go with Caleb Martin, Duncan Robinson or Terry Rozier if he plays. That's where you'll find the best value when it comes to increased usage for the Heat.
Brandon Ingram Over 25.5 Pts + Ast (-120 at DraftKings)
When it comes down to it, I'm going down with the ship on Brandon Ingram. Despite some lacking efforts in his last two games, it was his first contest in a while. Now, it's put up time. The Pelicans stretch guard has averaged over 20 points a game this season with over five assists. Playing to his averages will be a great thing here. And the thing is, this is a game where I expect him to do better than his seasonal averages. The Kings have a similar pacing to New Orleans and with this game at home, Ingram should shoot a lot better. The 26-year-old shoots around 44% from beyond the court at home and averages nearly two points better. I'm loving the overs here.
Harrison Barnes Under 19.5 Pts + Ast + Reb (-105 on BetMGM)
There isn't too much value on this slate with just a pair of games. Generally speaking, however, I expect the Pelicans to handle the game here. Most New Orleans players should hit their overs with the opposite happening for the Kings. The Pelicansâ defense is worthy and again. Playing this game in New Orleans is only trouble for Sacramento. Harrison Barnes has averaged 12 points per game on the year but this line is set based on his two recent 17-point outings. It's a pretty straightforward 'regress to mean' pick.
