NBA Player Prop Bet Odds, Picks & Predictions: Friday (11/24)

It’s been an immaculately successful season so far and I have been ridiculously hot of late, going 17-5 in the last couple of weeks. I cannot expect this kind of success to continue but I hope you have all tailed so far. This time of year books become sharper with more and more games being played and it gets a bit more difficult to find value but don’t worry, it’s still out there. After a brief Thanksgiving break, we have a solid 10-game slate with plenty of opportunity to make some money. Be sure to keep up with who is playing and who is not because there is bound to be some great value available right before tip-off.

Unless specified otherwise, each bet will be a single unit.

Friday’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets

  • Last Time: 3-3
  • Season: 38-16

Jonas Valanciunas Over 8.5 rebounds (-125, BetMGM)

I know this isn’t the most exciting prop to offer out the gate but hey, all I’m trying to do is provide winners, and I believe this to be one.

The Pelicans center has been on a tear of late, recording double-digit boards in each of his last three games. It may not be the most sustainable output, but he did average 10-plus rebounds a game last year and is sitting right around nine on the season so far. Despite this line being juiced, it still is set too low.

The Pelicans defense has been solid in 2023, ranking sixth in efficiency while still offering a pace-up spot to the Clippers. Neither offense ranks in the top half of the league so there should be plenty of missed shots and ample opportunity for Valanciunas to reach nine or more boards.

Jusuf Nurkic Over 10.5 points (-105, BetMGM)

For another prop that is simply set too low, it’s the Suns’ big man. Nurkic has reached 15 points in three of his last four games with two of them coming on the road.

What I like most about this prop is how the BettingPros Prop Bet Cheat Sheet projects Nurkic to score closer to 14 tonight. The Sheet has been a true savior in terms of betting for me this year and is a big reason why I have been so hot of late. It is truly a remarkable tool for all your betting needs.

Memphis’ defense may be holding the Grizzlies afloat but still, I feel like this line is overcompensating a bit. Memphis still brings the pace up for Phoenix, and the Grizzlies have allowed nearly 22 points a game to opposing centers, middle of the pack in the NBA. I don’t imagine Nurkic to reach that level of scoring, but he should be able to manage 11.

Andrew Wiggins Over 14.5 Pts + Ast (-115, BetMGM)

If there is such a thing as ‘Ol Reliable in NBA betting, it’s taking overs for the players on whatever team is playing the Spurs, especially if they are at home.

I can throw out the fact that these two teams rank number one and two respectfully in the pace of play, and that the Spurs’ defense is dead last in efficiency rating across the league, but of course, the books know that. Still, this number is too low.

Wiggins has shown his capacity for scoring with a 31-point outing last week against Oklahoma City. He is capable of reaching this prop alone on points but I’m adding in the assists for some insurance. There will be plenty of scoring in tonight’s game and while it may be tempting to go right to Steph Curry or Klay Thompson’s props, the pricing on Wiggins is the best in my opinion. The Spurs have allowed some of the highest scoring to opposing forwards, as well as over four assists per game. I will happily lay this over.
