NBA Player Prop Bet Odds, Picks & Predictions: Friday (12/22)

After another winning day on an incredible season, we have a nice six-game slate this Friday night. There are just enough games to not be overwhelmed but still find where the value sits as we aim for another winning day. As always, be sure to shop around for the best odds and stay aware of injury news. There are a fair share of questionable tags tonight meaning plenty of last-second value to grab when injury news drops. It’s been a remarkably successful season so let’s keep it going.

Unless specified otherwise, each bet will be a single unit.

Friday’s NBA Best Player Prop Bets

O.G. Anunoby Over 19.5 Pts + Ast + Reb (FanDuel)

While the 76ers defense is elite, second-ranked in efficiency on the season, it seems to be every player prop against Philadelphia over reacts to playing the team. On the season, the Toronto forward has averaged over 14 points a game alone, with four boards and multiple assists.

Despite his lackluster performances of late, bringing those averages down, this prop is simply set too low. He is due for an increase in minutes and usage, and is projected to reach around 23 on this combo prop, which gives me confidence in taking his over at a near even prop offer.

Domantas Sabonis Under 12.5 rebounds (FanDuel)

Sabonis has made me significant cash this year so it pains me to fade him but his props now are simply overinflated. The Suns play at a bottom six pace of play in the league and Sabonis averages just shy of 12.5 boards a game already, so there will be fewer possessions for the Kings big man to reach so many boards.

The Suns are also the sixth best rebounding and offensive rebounding team in the league, so the Kings will have their hands full, ranking 23rd at rebound rate. I am quite surprised that this prop currently sits at plus odds so I will gladly take the under here.

Saddiq Bey Under 5.5 rebounds (Caesars)

Trying to keep this article a bit exciting with two separate plus odd props. So here’s another.

Miami is the second best team at limiting rebounds to opposing forwards and power forwards. The Heat also offer a big pace down spot for Atlanta but the Miami defense may not be able to stop Atlanta and their fourth ranked offense. So essentially, fewer possessions for Bey to record boards to pair with fewer opportunities with made buckets, especially considering Atlanta’s 28th ranked defense.

Sometimes, I just trust the projections. The BettingPros Prop Bet Cheat Sheet gives this prop a 67 percent chance of hitting which is a remarkable value for +112. The Sheet has been truly remarkable in helping me this season and is the biggest reason for my success.
