NBA Player Prop Bet Odds, Picks & Predictions: Friday (3/1)

Welcome to a nine-game Friday NBA slate! Heading into the weekend, I can feel a big day ahead of us with ample value selections as March begins.

As always, monitor injury news and lineup announcements. The best way to stay sharp regarding NBA player props is by staying on top of the news. The second best way is to shop around at different books. Player props rarely have identical odds across platforms, so make sure you’re getting the best value.

Anyway, let’s get into our best NBA player props for Friday, March 1.

Friday’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets

Last Time: 1-2 | Season: 109-79

Marvin Bagley III Under 14.5 Pts + Ast (+100 via DraftKings Sportsbook)

My general strategy of “fade Washington” has been working out for me so far, so on the road in Los Angeles, of all places, I’m not going to back down. I will mention that Ivica Zubac is currently questionable for the Clippers, and I very much like this bet more with him in, but either way, it’s still a play.

Marvin Bagley III has been averaging under 12 points a game this season. This prop is inflated from recent 20-plus point efforts. Washington is a bottom-five offense playing on the road against a decent defense. I will take many scoring prop unders here, leading with Bagley.

Damian Lillard Over 29.5 Pts + Ast (-106 via FanDuel Sportsbook)

I get why Damian Lillard might not like the nightlife in Milwaukee, so maybe since he’s playing in Chicago, he’ll have some new firepower in the Second City. It’s always tempting to take unders when playing the Bulls due to Chicago’s plodding pace of play, but this seems like a zag to me.

Milwaukee seems to be (maybe?) finally getting their feet under them in the Doc Rivers era with four straight wins, and Lillard’s usage is a big part of that. The Bulls defense is slipping, ranking 20th across their last 15 games. It’s “Dame Time” tonight in Chicago, folks.

CJ McCollum Over 24.5 Pts + Ast + Reb (-120 via DraftKings Sportsbook)

I never intentionally try and find juiced props at -120 or worse, but this one has too much value to pass up. Projected at 30 for this combo prop, the BettingPros Prop Bet Cheat Sheet gives this a 76% chance of hitting and a high EV. The Sheet is a big reason why I have been so successful this season, so I would highly recommend checking it out. With a total nearing 240 at home, in a big pace-up spot, this is a prime situation for CJ McCollum to excel.

Jrue Holiday Over 16.5 Pts + Reb (-111 via FanDuel Sportsbook)

Projected over 20 for this combo prop, this is another solid value play. Playing at home in a pace-up spot against a sub-par defense is generally a good time to bet player prop overs (see my last bet). Luke Doncic is questionable, which would make me love this prop even more, but Jrue Holiday has still been averaging 13 points and nearly six boards a game on the season, giving me comfort in taking his over.
