Monday’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets

Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook This Season: 40-61 (-23.56 units)

Kyrie Irving Over 4.5 assists (+120)

Irving is averaging 5.0 assists per game this season, but he’s in the midst of a cold spell when it comes to assists. He recorded five in Saturday’s win over the Detroit Pistons, but the Dallas Mavericks also scored 142 points in that game, so his stat line is hardly promising. Before that five-assist game, he went eight consecutive contests with fewer than five assists.

However, we’ll back Irving to go over his total tonight for a really good price. The Bulls are 21st in the league in assists allowed per game. While they only allow 113.3 points per game, they have allowed 119 or more in two of their last three. Additionally, they give up the third-most points from beyond the arc this season, so Irving may be able to hit this number simply by passing to Luka Doncic.

Jonathan Kuminga Over 0.5 made three-pointers (+100)

Taking either the over or under for Kuminga’s three-pointers may feel like a coin flip in most games. This season, he’s averaged just 0.7 three-pointers made per game, and he’s only attempting 2.3 per contest. In February, there were three games in which he didn’t even attempt a three-pointer.

Despite that, we like his over tonight because of their opponent. The Spurs don’t allow a lot of points from beyond the arc, but opponents are shooting 38.0% from deep against them this season. That’s the fourth-worst in the NBA. Kuminga has only made a three-pointer in one of his last nine games. But tonight, against a team that struggles to defend the arc, Kuminga should attempt multiple three-pointers and make at least one.

Immanuel Quickley Under 20.5 points (-115)

Quickley has topped the 20-point mark in three of his last four games. On Saturday, he put up 29 points in 44 minutes against the Portland Trail Blazers. But Quickley’s hot shooting is going to stop tonight.

Since joining the Toronto Raptors, he is averaging over 3.0 made three-pointers per game. But the Nuggets allow the second-fewest points scored by three-pointers in the league. Additionally, their opponents shoot just 46.5% from the floor against them, the eight-best mark in the NBA. Quickley has shot better than that percentage in four of his last seven. If the Nuggets keep him under that mark tonight, he will struggle to get close to this number, which is already four points over his season average.
