Damian Lillard OVER 43.5 Points/Assists vs. Detroit Pistons (-122)
The Trail Blazers have been a streaky team all season. Having Lillard provides them with a great playmaker, but there isnât much around him, and that's why they are around .500. They are still in the playoff hunt by being just a half of a game out of the final spot in the West.
They get a favorable matchup against the team thatâs at the bottom of the East, the Detroit Pistons. Lillard has not cooled off since that 71-point performance, with two more 40+ point games. Heâs gone over 43 points/rebounds/assists in three of his last five and faces the third worse Adjusted Defensive team in the league.
Joel Embiid OVER 43.5 Points/Rebounds vs. Indiana Pacers (-120)
When the 76ers have their full lineup on the floor, they are one of the best in the league. They have shown that over the last few months and firmly moved into the three seed.
They get the Pacers, who had an awful run of losing recently and are just outside a playoff spot. Theyâve been below average all year against big men allowing the fourth-most points and fifth-most rebounds to centers.
Trae Young OVER 23.5 Points vs. Miami Heat (-115)
The Hawks are in the thick of the Eastern Conference playoff hunt. The range of where they could place is vast - they could finish high enough not to participate in the play-in tournament but could also not make the playoffs.
Young has played well recently, scoring 30 or more in three of his five games. One of those games was not on Saturday against Miami, and I will face them again. The Heat held Young to just eight points in the last game, but heâs gone over 20 in the other previous two matchups. Iâm confident in a bounce-back game.
