Today's Best NBA Player Prop Bets

Below are our favorite player prop bet picks for Monday's slate of NBA games.

Jayson Tatum OVER 31.5 Points (-115)

The Celtics continue to roll as one of the top teams. They're coming in with nine straight wins and are starting to carve out a little breathing room on top of the Eastern Conference.

Unlike last year when they had the league's top defense, they're getting it done with scoring as the league's second-best offense. Tatum is in the conversation for MVP with the third-best odds by averaging 31.8 points. He's facing the Magic, whom he's already had two incredible games against, averaging 33 points.

Jakob Poeltl OVER 11.5 Points (-118)

The Trail Blazers spent most of the season treading water in the West with the hopes that when Lillard returned, they’d be better, but they haven't. Portland has dropped 13 of 16 contests and is currently out of playoff contention.

The Spurs are in a rebuilding phase with a young roster as they sit near the bottom of the league. Poeltl has been good for San Antonio, averaging nearly a double-double this season. In his previous matchup against Portland, he had a season-high 31 points with 14 rebounds, and Portland is allowing the most points per game to centers this season.

D’Angelo Russell OVER 2.5 Threes (-122)

The Minnesota Timberwolves were expected to take a giant leap as one of the powerhouses in the West, but it hasn't happened. Last year's top offense has underperformed as they sit at 19th in points scored, and the defense has not improved statistically, even with the addition of Rudy Gobert.

They have a favorable matchup tonight when they face the Rockets who have the league's worst winning percentage. Houston is coming in with 13 straight losses and is in the bottom five on both sides of the court.

Their perimeter defense is where to play tonight Houston’s abysmal three-point defense. D'Angelo Russell has been shooting well from deep lately and has gone over this total in six of the last eight games.
