NBA Player Prop Bet Odds, Picks & Predictions: Monday (1/9)
DeâAaron Fox OVER 32.5 Points/Assists (-111)
The Kings are one of the most surprising teams in the NBA this season and have the longest playoff drought of any team in the major four sports at 12 years. That has a great chance to end this year, as they are currently in first place in the Pacific Division.
Tonight they will host the dreadful Magic, who are likely to be a lottery team again. What I like about playing the points/assist combo for Fox is the better value than playing either alone. The Magic are allowing the fourth-most assists to point guards this season, and that will help him push over that total.
Kristaps Porzingis OVER 23.5 Points (-118)
After going on a bad losing streak recently, the Wizards are starting to get back on track and have won five of their last seven. Unfortunately, they will be without Bradley Beal as he deals with a hamstring injury he suffered against the Bucks.
They host the Pelicans, who are dealing with injuries themselves. Zion Williamson being sidelined will become a massive advantage for Kristaps Porzingis, and with no Beal, he will be the focal point for this offense as Washington attacks the frontcourt.
Nikola Jokic OVER 27.5 Points (-104)
The Nuggets are in a tight battle with the Grizzles and are currently tied for the top seed in the Western Conference. It's hard not to put Nikola Jokic in the MVP conversation once again, as he nearly averages a triple-double and is top six in rebounds and assists.
The Lakers are playing great right now, winning five straight, but they are still missing Anthony Davis down low. The absence of The Brow guarding the basket will allow Jokic to put up an excellent stat line in what could be a high-scoring game.
