James Harden over 22.5 points (-115)
It has been a very tough start to the season for the 76ers, as they’ve dropped their first three games. They’ve been getting contributions from James Harden, Joel Embiid, and Tyrese Maxey, but they haven’t seen much outside them, especially in the second unit.
They’ll get a great opportunity against the Pacers, which has allowed the third most points to start the season. The perimeter defense has been struggling and has allowed the shooting guard to score 23 or more points in two of three games this season. Harden will not shy away from taking a shot, and he’ll hit the over.
Nikola Vucevic under 9.5 rebounds (-122)
The Bulls have struggled out of the gate, going 1-2, but hopefully, with Zach Levine back in the lineup, they can begin to improve, especially on offense. That’s been their biggest problem at the beginning of the season, and they are coming in 27th in field goal percentage, 28th in points per game, and 29th in three-point percentage.
Not a good time to see last year’s top-scoring defense, even though they’re just 18th in points allowed this year. Even with Robert Williams out, Boston has been incredible on the boards and allows the fourth-fewest total rebounds per game.
Nikola Vucevic is good for averaging a double-double, but his rebounds are down this year, and he’s under ten per game. I’m going to take him going under ten again in this matchup.
Kevin Durant over 28.5 points (-120)
Brooklyn is certainly not where they want to be as they come in in the middle of the pack on both offense and defense. Kevin Durant continues to be a powerhouse on offense, scoring 29.5 points per game. Today is an excellent chance to get their offense going in Memphis.
The Grizzlies have been the worst scoring defense to start the year, allowing 123 points per game. Durant has hit over his point total in both games this season, and he should not have a problem making it three.
