Saturday’s NBA Player Prop Bet Odds & Picks

Jaylen Brown Under 23.5 Points (-115)

Statistically, the Celtics are the best team in the league, as they lead the NBA in adjusted net rating and adjusted offensive rating. Boston is also third in defensive-adjusted rating.

They are coming off their worst loss of the year, going down 135-102 to the Bucks. They get another tough game as they host the Rockets. Houston has been one of the more surprising teams after being in the bottom of the barrel over the last few years. A big reason is their defense, as they are eighth in adjusted defensive ratings. They also defend the guard position well, allowing the second-fewest points, so look for Brown to be quiet in this matchup.

Anthony Davis Over 39.5 Points + Rebounds (-115)

The Lakers are in turmoil; they are just 4-10 in their last 14 games and are currently on the outside looking in at playoffs. If they win today, they will move into the 10th and final spot as they take on the Jazz. Utah is playing well, winning three straight games against all good teams (76ers, Nuggets and Bucks). They are struggling defensively, specifically near the post. Last time out, Anthony Davis went off with 26 points and 16 rebounds, and those numbers should be similar today.

Trae Young Over 40.5 Points +Assists (-115)

The Hawks have not been a good team this year. While they have one of the better offenses, as they are sixth in adjusted offensive ratings, they are 27th in adjusted defensive ratings. The Wizards’ opponents are the worst-rated defense in the league, so this could be a big offensive game for the Hawks, as they scored 130 or better in the three previous matchups. Young scored 40 points and 13 assists in his last game, so push this over again.
