Julius Randle UNDER 39.5 points/rebounds (-118)
The Knicks have been very streaky recently. Since December 4th, they rattled off eight straight wins, then five consecutive losses, won eight of nine, four straight losses now back-to-back win.
They'll face their cross-city rivals, the Nets. Brooklyn was on an incredible run until Kevin Durant was sidelined, but they are starting to dip in the Eastern Conference.
The last matchup was all Brooklyn winning by 27, but it should be more competitive without Durant. Randle had an excellent performance in that game, with 24 points and 11 rebounds. Vegas overshot this total because Brooklyn is still excellent defensively and should hold him to similar numbers from the previous matchup.
DeâAaron Fox OVER 23.5 points (-108)
The Kings are the most surprising team this year. With the longest playoff drought of the four major sports, they sit as the third seed. The key reason is they come in with the top-scoring offense.
They have a few playmakers, but Fox is leading the way as the team's top scorer. Tonight heâs facing a Timberwolves team, which has been highly disappointing. For Minnesota, the defense has been average, and the last year's top offense has sunk to the league average.
Fox should take advantage of the shaky perimeter defense that is 15th in Efficient Field Goal Percentage allowed and the fifth-most points to point guards.
Trae Young OVER 9.5 assists (-128)
The Hawks have been a streaky team this year, but they are on a nice streak winning six of their last eight. Young is having a stellar season as the star point guard commands this offense. Heâs coming in nearly averaging a double-double and has scored over 20 points and 11 rebounds in three straight games.
He gets the Clippers, who at the beginning of the season were one of the stronger defensive teams, but have dropped from the best Adjusted Defensive Ranking down to tenth.
This is a great night to back to Young getting his fourth straight game with double digits assists.
