Paul George over 24.5 points (-108)
The Clippers have a healthy roster, including Kawhi Leonard, who missed the entire 2021-22 season, and they are ready to compete. They got off to a good start with a win over the Lakers in the season’s first game.
It’s been over 15 years since the last time the Kings made the NBA playoffs. They’ll be on their third coach in three seasons with former Cavaliers and Lakers head coach Mike Brown. They finished 29th last season, allowing 115.8 points per game, and allowed 115 in the loss to the Trailblazers. Paul George will be the No. 1 offensive option until Leonard gets more games in, so look for a big game by him today.
Giannis Antetokounmpo over 12.5 rebounds (-113)
The Bucks weren’t able to defend their championship last season, but the team still looks excellent and can get a win in their first game season against the 76ers. Giannis Antetokounmpo was fantastic in that game, with 21 points, 13 rebounds, and three blocks.
Today he gets a more favorable matchup against the Rockets, who will probably receive a lottery pick again. Last season Rockets were 19th in opponents’ rebounds per game, and we saw Giannis grab 12 bounds against Joel Embiid. He should exceed that today.
James Harden 4+ 3s made (+280)
The 76ers are off to a rough start as they’re starting the season 0-2. Their defense has been pretty good, but they’ve scored the four lowest points per game since the start of the season. James Harden has done his best to give his team some offensive life and has 30+ in both games.
Today he’ll be going up against the Spurs, who allowed the second-highest three-point percentage last season. He went just 1-7 against the Bucks, who were third last season, but 5-9 against the Celtics, who were 22nd. He’ll sink enough from behind the arc in this game.
