Thursday’s NBA Player Prop Bet Odds & Picks

Unless specified otherwise, each bet will be a single unit.

Last Time: 3-1
Season: 83-55

Jalen Brunson Under 31.5 Pts + Reb (-111 via FanDuel)

Brunson has made me a lot of money this year, so it feels wrong to fade him. This is a good spot to do that, though. Denver is one of three teams that are a pace-down spot for the Knicks so the New York guard will only have so many opportunities. He’s been solid recently, scoring 30-plus points in each of past last five games, but he’s due for regression after averaging under 27 all year. Denver has limited opposing guards to 23 points a game, so I’m happy to take the under here.

Myles Turner Over 6.5 rebounds (+112 via FanDuel)

It’s always fun to zag a little when everyone else zigs. With Turner going up against the Philadelphia 76ers and Joel Embiid, it makes sense why this prop is where it is. This year he’s averaged over seven boards per game, and he’s done so each of his last three seasons. Indiana is a high-paced machine so despite a lack of defense for the Pacers, there will be plenty of opportunities to grab seven boards here tonight. At plus odds, I’m more than happy to roll these dice.

Alex Caruso Under 10.5 points (-115 via DraftKings)

If you haven’t bet much on the Chicago Bulls this year here’s a tip: bet Unders. Coming off a 15-point effort, Caruso got a little boost with his point prop, but his precious three games before he didn’t reach 11 points and I imagine tonight will be the same. The Lakers’ defense is good enough to handle this 23rd-ranked Chicago offense and the Bulls have become the slowest team in the league. I’m quite comfortable fading Caruso in this one.

Nikola Jokic Under 47.5 Pts + Ast + Reb (-105 via DraftKings)

This is another “I don’t feel so great fading this guy” kind of bet but the strategy hasn’t burned me yet so I’m going to stick with it. The BettingPros Prop Bet Cheat Sheet projects Jokic to finish with around 43 for this combo prop so there is significant value on the under. The Knicks are the best rebounding team in the league and have a top-10 defense. With the help of Julius Randle, they’ve held opposing centers to under 21 points a game, the fourth-lowest in the league. This is an easy fade spot for the Joker and I trust the Sheet.
