NBA Player Prop Bet Odds, Picks & Predictions: Thursday (2/22)

And we’re back! The NBA kicks off the second half of the season with a banger of a 12-game slate.

For those who tailed before the All-Star Break, thank you. It’s been a solid ride so far, so let’s keep it going after the break. As always, monitor injury news and lineup announcements. The best way to stay sharp when it comes to NBA player props is by staying on top of the news.

In any case, let’s get to it.

Thursday’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets

Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook unless noted Last Time: 3-2 | Season: 105-73

Jusuf Nurkic Over 23.5 Points + Assists + Rebounds (-105)

A couple of games jump off the page tonight, and Phoneix at Dallas is one of them. With a total of around 245 and only a two or three-point spread, there should be plenty of fireworks tonight.

The temptation is to go to one of the stars like Kevin Durant, Luka Doncic or Devin Booker. Yet, I find the value lies in the other starters. Enter Jusuf Nurkic. At near-even odds, facing a sub-par defense in a solid pace-up spot, the Suns’ center should have higher totals tonight. He’s been averaging over a double-double on the season, with nearly four assists in addition. Such a game should be good for this prop to cover here.

Keyonte George Over 14.5 Points (-110)

Considering Keyonte George most recently had a 33-point outing against Golden State, I am a little weary of taking such an inflated prop. Still, while his recent numbers are higher than his seasonal average, I see them as sustainable and not due for much regression.

The rookie has seen a steady increase in minutes over the season, and I only expect that to continue. Charlotte ranks dead last in defensive efficiency, so after some rest, this is the perfect spot to continue buying stock on George.

Russell Westbrook Over 3.5 Assists (-120)

It’s a bit of a cop-out prop to take with the juice, but I have to find a Westbrook bet in his return to OKC. I’m not much of a narrative-based bettor, but if there’s any player that you can use that angle for, it’s Westbrook.

Besides, the BettingPros Prop Bet Cheat Sheet tags this as one of the best bets of the day with a 76% chance of hitting. I trust the Sheet with my life and highly recommend checking it out, as it covers all your betting needs.
