NBA Player Prop Bet Odds, Picks & Predictions: Tuesday (1/3)

Jalen Williams UNDER 3.5 Rebounds (+105)

Sometimes you have to play the value game, and this is a perfect example with the odds sitting at +105. Now Boston isn’t exactly the best rebounding team in the nation, but I still expect their frontcourt to take care of business against the 28th-ranked rebounding team in Oklahoma City.

After having a successful last couple of weeks in the rebounding front, Williams is due for some major regression. On the season, Williams has been averaging 3.7 boards a game, two fewer than he’s averaged the last two weeks.

Given Boston’s efficient offense, I simply don’t know if Williams will have enough opportunity to reach four rebounds. The BettingPros Prop Bet Cheat Sheet sees it as one of the best values on the slate as well, with a +40 percent expected value.

Kelly Olynyk OVER 4.5 Rebounds (-140)

I’m a bit surprised to be so consistently betting on Kelly Olynyk over the last week, but here we are.

Over the last two months, Olynyk has tallied 5.2 boards a game, and he’s been only increasing his minutes since returning this past week. I see his minutes and usage continue to rise, and Sacramento is the perfect team to break out against.

Both Utah and Sacramento rank in the top half of the league in pace, so I expect a lot of possessions. The bookmakers might see this as a shoo-in with a -140 odds set on the prop, but I still see this as a solid choice to play.

Jayson Tatum OVER 30.5 Points (-105)

Number one on my money-making list this year is Jayson Tatum.

Despite Oklahoma City’s surprisingly solid defense, I simply trust Tatum and Co. to take care of business tonight. Oklahoma City’s third-ranked pace of play gives Boston a big pace-up spot that allows Tatum to score even more.

The Duke product has averaged 34 points per game over the last two weeks. While that probably isn’t sustainable, he’s still over 30 ppg on the year and sitting at 31 per game over the last two months. I would expect this line to sit more so at 31.5 or 32, so I’m loving the line at 30.5.
