Boston Celtics vs. Detroit Pistons
The Celtics and Pistons have both been my favorite teams to bet on this season. Both teams have players that are high-volume shooters, and high-volume shooters have plenty of opportunities to have high-scoring games. These players make some of the best player prop bets.
One of the high-volume shooters in this game is Jayson Tatum. He averages 20.1 shots per game. That is enough to rank 11th in the NBA in shot attempts. 9.2 of these shots are three-pointers. Tatum shoots the 6th most three-pointers in the NBA. That volume gives Tatum plenty of opportunity to make over 2.5 three-pointers in this matchup.
Bet: Jayson Tatum Over 2.5 Three Pointers (-165 DraftKings)
Sacramento Kings vs. Cleveland Cavaliers
A couple of rookies in the league are standing out this season. The rookies have been some of my favorite player prop targets early in the season. Paolo Banchero for the Magic, Jaden Ivey for Detrioit. Another one of my favorites has been Keegan Murray.
Murray was one of the best scorers last year in college basketball. He averages 12.9 points per game this season. Murray's role is limited, but that role will grow throughout the season. The potential growth in his offense and his current scoring give this player prop betting value.
Keegan Murray Over 10.5 points (-125 DraftKings)
Chicago Bulls vs. New Orleans Pelicans
The Chicago Bulls have plenty of talent on their roster. They have a center that is one of the best rebounders in the NBA. They have plenty of depth on their roster. The Bulls even have multiple scoring options.
The best scorer for the Bulls is DeMar DeRozan. DeRozan averages 23.8 points per game and a season-high of 46 points. The Pelicans are on a three-game losing streak. They look like a different team than at the start of the season. This game is an opportunity for DeRozan to score plenty of points.
DeMar DeRozan Over 22.5 Points (-115 DraftKings)
