Best NBA Player Prop Bet Odds, Picks & Predictions: Wednesday (11/2)

There are a lot more games tonight than there was last night. That means there are plenty of opportunities to find player prop bets. Player prop betting is simple, pick a stat or combination of stats. Rebounds, points or assists, then bet the player to go over or under that stat. 

Let us look at the top player prop bets tonight.

New York Knicks vs. Atlanta Hawks 

Both these teams have a chance to make the playoffs this year. The biggest issue they both need to address is their defense. The Knicks are giving up 115 points per game, and the Hawks are giving up 116. That should mean there will be a lot of baskets tonight. 

Julius Randle started this season looking like he was back to his All-Star form from two years ago. His scoring has slowed down slightly in the last two games, but this game is an opportunity for him to get back to scoring. The Hawks are giving up plenty of points, and the pace of play should be quick. This game is the perfect combination for Randle to have a high-scoring game.

Dallas Mavericks vs. Utah Jazz

The Dallas Mavericks are currently 10th in the West, and the Utah Jazz is third. Before the season started, I would have picked the Jazz for 10th and the Mavericks for third. The emergence of Jordan Clarkson and Lauri Markkanen has allowed the Jazz to flourish early in the season. The question now is if they can maintain their production all season long.

Markkanen finally looks like the player he looked like during his rookie year in Chicago. There wasn’t a No. 1 scoring option in Utah early this season, but Markkanen has stepped into that role and is averaging 22.6 points per game. That gives tonight’s over of 18.5 points plenty of betting value.

Milwaukee Bucks vs. Detroit Pistons

The Milwaukee Bucks are the better team in this matchup from top to bottom. They have height, athleticism and experience. The Pistons are currently lacking that on their roster. Anything can happen in the NBA, but the Bucks have the advantage tonight.

Brook Lopez has completely transformed his game since he was in Brooklyn. He used to score a lot inside the paint but struggled on defense. Currently, Lopez is a defensive player that can shoot threes. He is also getting plenty of opportunities to shoot them in this offense. That means tonight, against the Pistons, he has a chance to go over on three-pointers.
