LaMelo Ball is off to an incredible start to the season. Will his hot shooting continue tonight against the Minnesota Timberwolves? How will Josh Hart do on the glass against the Houston Rockets? will Jayson Tatum knock down at least five three-pointers against the worst three-point shooting defense in the NBA?

Mondayâs Best NBA Player Prop Bets
This Season: 4-5 (-0.14 units) | Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook
LaMelo Ball Under 4.5 Three-Pointers Made (-130)
LaMelo Ball is averaging 4.8 made three-pointers per game this season. He's made at least four three-pointers in five of his six games. He's knocked down at least five shots from beyond the arc three times. Despite his success, the under is heavily favored tonight, and with good reason.
Ball finds himself in his toughest matchup of the season, going up against a Timberwolves defense allowing just 11.0 three-pointers per game. They're allowing opponents to knock down just 32.8% of their three-pointers this season. Even if Ball attempts 10 threes, as he's done in every game this season, he will likely hit this under. It'd be nice if we could get this price around -120, but even where it is, this is one of the best plays of the day.
Josh Hart Under 10.5 Rebounds (-120)
After recording just four rebounds in his first game of the season, Josh Hart has pulled down at least nine boards in four consecutive games. He pulled down at least 10 rebounds three times during that span and has 13- and 14-rebound performances to his name this year. Even though he's averaging 10.0 rebounds per game, I'm taking his under tonight.
Hart is a solid rebounder, but this simply feels like a hot start. Last year, he averaged 8.3 rebounds per game. Additionally, he's hit this under in three of his five games. The Rockets aren't a very good rebounding team, allowing opponents to pull down 56.7 per contest. However, I feel it's more likely someone like Karl-Anthony Towns will take advantage of the matchup rather than Hart.
Jayson Tatum 5+ Three-Pointers Made (+170)
After taking two favorites, my third prop of the night is a bit more of a longshot. Jayson Tatum's line is set at 3.5, and the over and under both have a price of -115. Tatum is coming off his worst shooting night from beyond the arc, as he knocked down just one of his nine three-point attempts. Despite that, there is still a lot to like about this prop tonight.
First, Tatum is averaging 11.3 three-pointers per game to start the season. Second, he's knocked down at least five threes in three of his seven games this year. Third, the Atlanta Hawks allow more three-pointers than anyone else in the league. Opponents are knocking down 41.1% of their threes. While Tatum is shooting well below that mark this season, he's yet to have a matchup this good.
