There are only two NBA games tonight, as the league enters its final week of play. First, the Detroit Pistons host the Sacramento Kings, then the Philadelphia 76ers visit the Miami Heat.
In the first game, what should we expect from Malik Beasley and Tim Hardaway Jr. against the Kings' defense? In the second game, will Tyler Herro get his teammates involved like he has in recent games against the 76ers?
Here are the three best NBA player props for Monday, April 7th.

Malik Beasley 18+ Points (+130)
Malik Beasley is averaging 16.3 points per game, but he's managed just 11 points in two of his last three games. However, there is value in taking this alt line today, as Beasley has scored at least 10 points in three of his last five. The Kings are allowing 115.5 points per game, which ranks 20th in the league, and they're playing on the second night of a back-to-back, so this late in the season, fatigue may play a serious factor.
When Beasley faced the Kings on December 26th, he scored 22 points. In that game, he went 7-of-16 from the field. Six of his seven field goals were from beyond the three-point line. Beasley is averaging 3.9 made threes per game. Tonight he gets to face the team allowing the most three-pointers per game in the league. At this price, this is one of the best plays of the day.
Tim Hardaway Jr. 3+ Made Three-Pointers (-105)
I’m sticking with the Pistons for my second play of the day. Tim Hardaway Jr. enters tonight's game averaging 2.2 made three-pointers per game. He was just 1-of-7 from deep on Saturday, but he has made at least three three-pointers in four of his last five games. During that span, he's made at least 55% of his three-point attempts three times.
Against the Kings in December, Hardaway went just 2-of-7 from beyond the arc. He also only played 23 minutes in that game. Hardaway averaged just 26.5 minutes per game during December, but he's seen increased playing time since then. He averaged 31.1 minutes in January and 27.2 in February. He's also played at least 32 minutes in all three of his April games.
If Hardaway is on the court for at least 30 minutes tonight, expect his hot shooting to continue against a team that struggles to defend the three-point line.
Tyler Herro 7+ Assists (+120)
Tyler Herro's standard assists total is set at 5.5, and the price for him to go over that total is -160. There is no value in taking that prop unless you plan on adding it to a parlay. Therefore, I'll take Herro to record at least seven assists tonight for a much better price.
Herro has faced the 76ers three times this season. He's dished out seven assists in the two most recent games, while he recorded five in his first contest against them. Herro is averaging 5.6 assists per game this season, so this will require him to go well over his season average, but that's already been factored into the price.
Herro has been excellent against the 76ers this season, as he's recorded back-to-back 30-point, seven-assist games. The 76ers are allowing the sixth-most assists per game, so I expect Herro to take advantage of the matchup again.
