NBA Player Prop Bets, Odds & Picks: Tuesday (3/18)

There are only four NBA games tonight, so there aren't as many player props to choose from as usual. How will Kyle Kuzma fare when his Milwaukee Bucks battle the Golden State Warriors? How will Onyeka Okongwu perform on the glass against the Charlotte Hornets? Can Darius Garland dish out at least seven assists against the Los Angeles Clippers?

Here are the three best NBA player props for Tuesday, March 18th.

Tuesday’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets

This Season: 45-57 (-6.45 units) | Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook

Kyle Kuzma Over 12.5 Points (-110)

For four consecutive games, Kyle Kuzma has scored 10 or fewer points. He hasn't made more than four field goals in a game since March 9th. During his current stretch of rough shooting, he scored in single digits in three consecutive games for the first time all season. And yet, tonight, I'm taking him to get back on track and hit his over.

The Warriors are a solid defensive team, allowing the eighth-fewest points per game in the league. Over their last three games, they're allowing just 104 points per contest. So, why is this a good matchup for Kuzma? First, he is averaging 14.5 points per game. Since joining the Bucks, he's scored at least 13 points in 10 of his 18 games. Additionally in two games against the Warriors this season, Kuzma has dropped 21 and 22 points. The 21-point performance was with the Bucks.

Onyeka Okongwu Under 11.5 Rebounds (-120)

The Hornets are allowing the fifth-most rebounds per game this season, giving up an average of 53.7 per contest. Despite that statistic, this number is set too high for Onyeka Okongwu. He is averaging just 8.5 rebounds per game, so even in this solid matchup, I don't expect him to record 3.5 more rebounds than normal.

When Okongwu faced the Hornets last week, he pulled down 10 rebounds in 31 minutes. It was a solid performance, but again, it showed that even with a solid performance, this number is too high. Okongwu has played the Hornets three times this season. While he's pulled down double-digit rebounds in two of those three contests, he's yet to grab more than 11 boards. He just grabbed 15 rebounds against the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday, but all that performance is doing is inflating today's total.

Darius Garland 7+ Assists (+120)

The Clippers rank eighth in the NBA in assists allowed per game. They're only giving up 25.5 per contest, thanks in large part to their tremendous scoring defense, which is allowing just 108.4 points per game, the fourth-best mark in the league. Yet, I'm taking Darius Garland to hit this alt line anyway.

Garland is averaging 6.7 assists per game and has dished out at least eight in two of his last three games. The only teams allowing fewer points this season than the Clippers are the Orlando Magic, Oklahoma City Thunder and Boston Celtics. Garland has dished out at least seven assists in five of his eight games against those teams. Garland steps up against the best defenses. I expect him to do the same in his first game against the Clippers tonight.
