Anfernee Simons has gone cold from beyond the arc in his last two games. Will he get right tonight when his Portland Trail Blazers battle the Cleveland Cavaliers? How will Onyeka Okongwu perform on the boards against the Houston Rockets? Will LaMelo Ball have his third incredible game against the Orlando Magic this season?

This Season: 49-58 (-3.30 units) | Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook
Anfernee Simons Under 3.5 Three-Pointers Made (-125)
Anfernee Simons is the Trail Blazers' leading scorer, averaging 19.5 points per game. To get to that number, he knocks down quite a few threes, averaging 3.1 makes per game. But Simons has made three or fewer shots from beyond the arc in back-to-back games and three of his last five overall.
Tonight, Simons takes on the Cavaliers, a team allowing 13.3 three-pointers per game. That's the 12th-fewest in the NBA. When Simons played them earlier in March, he went 4-of-12 from deep. While that performance would have put him over his total tonight, the 33.3% shooting from beyond the three-point line is worrying, considering Simons shoots 37.1% on average.
Simons isn't afraid to take at least 10 attempts in a game, but he will need to hit that number to clear his over tonight. Even if he does hoist up 10 shots from beyond the arc, he may still miss this total against this defense.
Onyeka Okongwu Under 9.5 Rebounds (-105)
The Rockets are allowing the ninth-fewest rebounds per game, so seeing Onyeka Okongwu's number set one full rebound higher than his season average is a bit surprising. Okongwu has pulled down at least 10 rebounds in five of his last six games. The only time he failed to record at least 10 was when he pulled down nine, so his floor is very high entering this game.
That said, the only time Okongwu faced the Rockets this season, he grabbed just six rebounds in 28 minutes. It was one of his worst performances on the glass in the last few months. Okongwu is hot right now, but this is the perfect time to fade him. He's been performing so well that the price for this under is nearly +100. Get in before bettors wise up. Bet the under and make this price worse.
LaMelo Ball Under 24.5 Points (-115)
LaMelo Ball is averaging 25.2 points per game, yet his under is favored tonight against the best scoring defense in basketball. While I am going to take Ball's under, there are still reasons to be concerned entering this matchup. Despite how good Orlando’s defense has been, Ball has managed to put up two massive games against them, scoring 35 and 44 points. Will he put together another similar performance tonight?
Those games were played in November, and a lot has changed since then. During that month, Ball averaged 31.8 points per game. He hasn't averaged more than 26 in a month since. Ball has scored fewer than 20 points in two of his last three games, and he's only averaging 21.2 points per game in March. If he were entering this game on fire, then it might be worth taking his over, but he's entering in a slump. The Magic are a hard team to get out of a slump against.
