NBA Player Prop Bets, Picks & Predictions: Friday (1/10)
We are inching closer to the NBA All-Star game. It's been a profitable season, and I hope we continue that trend tonight. We have a solid eight-game slate tonight, so there are plenty of props to choose from.
As always, monitor injury news and lineup announcements. The best way to stay sharp regarding NBA player props is by staying on top of the news. The second-best way is to shop around at different sportsbooks. Player props rarely have identical odds across platforms, so make sure you're getting the best value. Let's get to it.
Unless specified otherwise, each bet will be for a single unit.

Friday's Best NBA Player Prop Bets
Last Time: 1-2 | Season: 80-57
Malik Monk Under 28.5 Points + Assists + Rebounds (-115 at DraftKings Sportsbook)
Malik Monk has covered this line in 40% of games this season. He's averaging only 17 points per game.
Boston is also the seventh-slowest-paced team in the league with the sixth-best defense. Monkâs projected closer to 22 on the combo prop and he gets a bit of a downgrade on the road. Boston's defense is also even better over its last 10 games, so if you are really looking for Monk to have a regression game, I trust this play even more.
Josh Hart Under 30.5 Points + Assists + Rebounds (-120 at DraftKings Sportsbook)
For another defensive battle, Josh Hart will struggle tonight against the top-ranked Oklahoma City unit. Hart has been playing more recently but his numbers haven't exactly been that ballooned. He's averaging right around 32 points + assists + rebounds in the last two weeks. On the season, he is closer to 27.
Not only is he due for regression but he also should go under his seasonal averages. The Knicks are known for their slower pace of play, but over their last 10 games, the difference between these two hasn't been nearly as much as it has in years past. Even with increased minutes, Hart is still around a 15% usage rate. I'm comfortable riding the under.
Kyle Kuzma Over 20.5 Points + Assists (-115 at Caesars Sportsbook)
With the two greatest teams when betting playing each other, this is quite the delightful game to prop bet tonight. Both teams rank in the top five of pace of play with the Wizards in the bottom three and Chicago in the bottom 10 of defenses. It makes sense why this total is over 240.
Kyle Kuzma is specifically set up well tonight. No team outside the Wizards has allowed more points + assists than the Chicago Bulls. Jordan Poole and Alex Sarr are both questionable. Since returning to the starting lineup, Kuzma has a 27% usage rate, which has a good chance of increasing.
Washington has struggled this season but their most recent win was a 125-point effort against Chicago. Tonight they have the same chance to put up high numbers and for Kuzma to be a part of that.
