NBA Player Prop Bets, Picks & Predictions: Friday (11/15)

We've hit the ground running this NBA season and we're well on our way to a profitable year. But I shouldn't count my chickens before they hatch. The group play of the NBA Cup kicked off Tuesday night and we're back with a loaded slate tonight.

As always, monitor injury news and lineup announcements. The best way to stay sharp regarding NBA player props is by staying on top of the news. The second-best way is to shop around at different books. Player props rarely have identical odds across platforms, so make sure you're getting the best value. Let's get to it.

Unless specified otherwise, each bet will be for a single unit.

Friday’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets

Last Time: 1-1 | Season: 31-20

Trae Young Over 39.5 Points + Assists+ Rebounds (-125 on DraftKings Sportsbook)

Oh, baby. What a game. What a treat. If you're looking for offense, this is your game. The Wizards rank dead last in defensive efficiency this year. The Wizards are the team you want to play. Both teams rank in the top five in pace of play and Washington is one of three teams that will speed up the Hawks and Trae Young.

The Atlanta guard is off the injury report after missing the last game against Boston, so even in such a plus-matchup, it still feels like this prop is too low. Last time out against Washington, Young scored 35 points with 15 assists. And it only seems like Washington has gotten worse.

This should be a fun game with the highest total on the slate but don't forget Atlanta is an 8-point favorite, so the production has to come from somewhere. I'm going with the clear option.

Donovan Mitchell Over 34.5 Points + Assists + Rebounds (-113 on FanDuel Sportsbook)

The other team you should bet opponents against is the Chicago Bulls. The fastest team in the league with a below-average defense is what I'm talking about. Cleveland has been in domination mode the entire year, starting 13-0 and owning the second-most-efficient offense in the league.

The Bulls have also allowed the third-highest scoring to opposing shooting guards, so it sets up well for Mitchell. The BettingPros Prop Bet Cheat Sheet projects Mitchell’s points + rebounds + assists (PRA) to be around 37, making it quite a valuable bet. The Sheet has been a fantastic tool for me. I truly could not recommend it more for all your betting needs. Mitchell could have a career-type game here playing at home against the Bulls.

Josh Hart Under 27.5 Points + Assists + Rebounds (-120 on BetMGM)

Finally, we're fading the Knicks’ small forward in a game with a 215 total between the two slowest-paced teams in the NBA. The Knicks offense has been efficient but Hart simply won't have enough opportunity to rack up enough PRA to cover here.

Hart has averaged below this PRA line in his career. He's playing more minutes but his usage isn't that high. He's due for regression and should be projected lower than where this prop sits. It's a bit juiced but there is still value here and I'm going with it on what is a low total where finding the under on player props is a recommended approach.
