NBA Player Prop Bets, Picks & Predictions: Monday (12/16)
There are some intriguing player props on tonightâs NBA betting slate. Iâve added a few to my betting portfolio youâll want to consider for your own.
Letâs get right to it.
Mondayâs Best NBA Player Props
(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)
Chicago Bulls vs. Toronto Raptors
Zach LaVine had a poor outing last time out, scoring only 13 points against Charlotte. However, before that game, LaVine had scored at least 30 points in back-to-back games.
Heâll likely return to doing that. After all, Toronto has allowed shooting guards to score 22.89 points per game, which ranks 22nd in the NBA.
The Raptors also rank 23rd in field goal percentage allowed to shooting guards and rank 28th in three-point field goal percentage.
Beyond that, shooting guards have gotten to the line nearly six times per game. The Raptors rank dead last in free throws made and attempted to shooting guards this season. LaVine should pile up the points tonight.
Pick: Zach LaVine Over 21.5 Points (-115)
Utah Jazz vs. Los Angeles Clippers
James Harden has been tremendous on the glass this season. No, heâs not earning 10+ rebounds per game. But heâs still added at least five rebounds in 76% of games this season.
Harden has totaled at least five rebounds in 73% of his last 30 games and has added at least five rebounds in four of his previous five games head-to-head against the Utah Jazz.
Ultimately, the Jazz have allowed 6.31 rebounds to shooting guards this season. Utah ranks 22nd in that category and has allowed nearly five defensive rebounds per game, ranking 21st.
Iâd expect Harden to be efficient on the glass tonight.
Pick: James Harden Over 4.5 Rebounds (-142)
Denver Nuggets vs. Sacramento Kings
The final player prop will be in the Nuggets-Kings game. Weâll target Aaron Gordon.
The Nuggets forward has added at least four assists in 50% of his last 10 games. Heâs also hit this line in 63% of his previous 30 games. However, Gordon has managed at least four assists this season in only 42% of games. Heâs also hit this line in just one of eight games against the Kings.
Why?
The Kings typically rank well at defending power forwards from adding assists. The Kings have allowed power forwards to total only 3.62 assists per game. That ranks fifth in the NBA.
Additionally, Gordon added just two assists in two of his last three games.
Pick: Aaron Gordon Under 3.5 Assists (-150)
