Saturday’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets
(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Jrue Holiday Over 14.5 Points + Rebounds (-115)
It's the first rematch of last year's NBA Finals as the Celtics take on the Mavericks. It won't look like last year’s matchup because Dallas has a ton of injuries. Naji Marshall, Dwight Powell, Dereck Lively, Jaden Hardy and Luka Donic are all out, so the Mavericks lack depth at every position.
This will greatly benefit the Celtics, who need the win after a horrible 21-point defeat against the Lakers. This is an excellent spot for Jrue Holiday, who's gone over this total in nine of his last 15 games. The lack of depth in the backcourt has certainly hurt the Mavs, as they have allowed six of the last 10 point guards they’ve faced to go over their combined points + rebounds prop.
De’Aaron Fox Over 22.5 Points (-110)
The Kings have completely turned their season around. Firing Mike Brown was the best move they made. Since the coaching change, they have gone 10-2 and have moved into the Play-In Tournament.
They are heading to Madison Square Garden to take on the Knicks, who have played inconsistently recently. De’Aaron Fox has been quiet lately after going eight straight games of leading the team in points. This game is where we can see him have a big night, especially as he squares off against Jalen Brunson. New York has regressed on the defensive side and is 19th in defensive rating in January. They have especially struggled to contain point guards as they have allowed the fourth-most points to the position since January 18th.
Nikola Jokic Under 50.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-115)
The Nuggets are playing their best basketball of the year, having won eight of their last nine games. They have been fantastic on both sides of the ball, especially on offense, scoring 130+ points in three of the last four games.
Nikola Jokic is on the path towards another MVP season as he's top three in points (30.2), rebounds (13.4) and assists (10.4). He's coming in with five straight triple-doubles, but they haven't all been with huge numbers. He's gone under his combined points + rebounds + assists prop in four of his last six games. The Timberwolves seem to know how to contain him because he's gone under this total in eight of his previous 12 matchups against them.
