(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Stephon Castle Over 20.5 Points (-120)
The Spurs could have been one of those exciting teams to watch when they acquired De'Aaron Fox to pair with Victor Wembanyama. Unfortunately, injuries have delayed any excitement until next season, as both Wembanyama and Fox will miss the remainder of the season with injuries. This gives some of the other guys chances to prove themselves.
First-round rookie Stephon Castle is someone to pay attention to. He is fourth on the team in points per game (13.4) and is the heavy favorite to win Rookie of the Year. He's scored 20+ points in six of his last nine games thanks to increased playing time. Castle will go up against the Pelicans, who have allowed a starting guard to go over their points projections in nine of the last 10 games.
Cade Cunningham Under 41.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-110)
The Pistons are amazing this season. They went from one of the worst teams last season that had a 23-game losing streak to a playoff contender this season. They have a mix of young talent and savvy veterans that have elevated the entire squad.
The most notable young player they have is Cade Cunningham, who is becoming a star. Cunningham is having the best season of his career, averaging 25.9 points per game (ninth) and 9.3 assists per game (third).
This will be a tough matchup against the Thunders and their No. 1 rated defense. In their last matchup, Cunningham had just 24 points + rebounds + assists, falling short of his 34.5 prop number. Oklahoma City is allowing the second-fewest points + rebounds + assists to point guards this season. We could see Cunningham have another quiet game.
Pascal Siakam Over 28.5 Points + Rebounds (-115)
The Pacers are in the thick of the Eastern Conference race. Even though they are currently tied for the No. 4 seed, they are only five games away from the No. 3 seed. It took some time for the team to find themselves, but they're playing well and have the fourth-most wins since December 13th (27).
Last year, they traded for Pascal Siakam, who has been phenomenal and is leading them with 20.9 points per game. This is a pivotal game against Milwaukee as that's the team they are tied for fourth place. These two just played a tight game on Tuesday, with Indiana squeaking by with a 115-114 win. Siakam led that game with 25 points and 12 rebounds. He's gone over this combined points + rebounds prop in four of the last five games. We are starting to see Tyrese Haliburton become a facilitator, allowing Siakam to become their primary scorer.
