(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Cameron Johnson Over 23.5 Points + Rebounds (-125)
The Nets are limping to the end of another disappointing season, losing 16 of their last 18 games. In that span, they are 29th in points per game (105.3). However, the defense has been solid, ranking 18th in points allowed per game (115.1).
While this team is rebuilding, some players could be a part of this future, such as Cameron Johnson. He is their primary scoring option with Cam Thomas sidelined. Johnson has gone over his combined points + rebounds prop in five of his previous 10 games. He gets to face one of the only other teams worse than the Nets, with the Wizards coming in with a record of 16-57. They rank last in combined points + rebounds allowed to forwards this season.
Coby White Over 25.5 Points (-125)
Are the Bulls making a run? They are coming in hot, having won four straight and nine of their last 11. This has put them in NBA Play-in Tournament contention. While it seems unlikely they'll get an actual playoff spot, they are on a path to needing only one win to get into the postseason.
It's time to look at Coby White as a legitimate part of the future of this team. Last year, he had a breakout season with 19.1 points per game, but he's been even better this season (20.4). He's been better than that recently, with at least 26 points in nine of his last 13 games. White will face off against the Mavericks, who are clinging to the No. 10 seed. This could be another excellent night for White, as the Mavs have allowed eight of the last 10 guards to go over their points prop.
Anthony Davis Over 31.5 Points + Rebounds (-110)
Despite the ups and downs of Dallas’ season, they are still in a position to make the playoffs. This is a good test to see if some of the pieces they currently have will be a part of their future.
If the Mavericks are going to make a run at the playoffs, it is important to have Anthony Davis in the lineup. He hasn't put up great numbers since his return, but he's faced some good defenses. The Bulls could be an opponent where we see a better performance, as they rank 24th in defensive rating.
Davis' inside presence and versatility to shoot from the perimeter should give him mismatches throughout this game.
